Software built for Sierra Leone
We are a small team in Freetown. We build tools that schools and businesses can use on the phones and connections they already have.
We build software for Sierra Leone.
PalmRoot Tech is a software company in Freetown. Our first product, EduSalone, keeps a school's records, marks and report cards in one place. It is made for the phones and connections our schools already have, and it is being tested in a school right now.
Our first training group: 30 students.
Licia's Glow and PalmRoot Tech run a Beauty and Wellness Training Programme in Freetown. Every graduate gets a certificate with a number and a QR code, so anyone can check it online.

Check a training certificate
Every Licia's Glow and PalmRoot Tech certificate carries a number and a QR code. Type the number here to see if it is genuine. Student details open only for the person holding the number.
Where the number is. It sits at the top right of the certificate and looks like PRT-BW followed by eight letters or digits. Scanning the QR code does the same check.
Who we are
PalmRoot Tech is a small team in Freetown. We wrote EduSalone ourselves, and we test everything before it is used in a school.
When something goes wrong, you will not be passed to a call centre in another country. You will be speaking to the people who wrote the code.
